Material Sources:

Keltic Kids material comes from many sources. It is taken from old Irish songs (lots of research has been done to find/select what is appropriate and engaging); old poems have been set to music; beautiful old airs have been made contemporary by having lyrics set to them; and some songs and chants have been adapted from their original form. Instrument play and dance is set to standard or new Irish music – jigs, reels, hornpipes, slip-jigs, and what have you! In addition to these, much of the material is ORIGINAL, created specifically for Keltic Kids by Laura James Flynn, the creator of Keltic Kids, using Irish themes and motifs… and not a small measure of mischief.
